User self-service updates with AdSelfServicePlus

Have you ever been interrupted at work by a wrong number call from someone else within AdSelfServicePlus1 your compay?  Outlook’s  Global Address List (GAL) is handy for looking up phone numbers, addresses, titles, and other information, but can be difficult to keep up to date . As employees move, change phones, etc. somebody has to update Active Directory’s GAL. AdSelfServicePlus is a web-based application for updating user information, and passwords. Domain users have access to three tabs: MyInfo, Change Password, and Reset Q&A, which is used to set up security questions when resetting forgotten passwords. Administrators have access to configuration screens that allow them to set which user attributes can be updated, as well as settings for Reset Password, Unlock Account, and Change Password options. The Unlock Account configuration also includes an option for automatically unlocking accounts. Also available for administrators are 8 user reports including Locked Out Users, Soon-To-Expire Password Users, Password Expired Users, Reset Password Audit Report, Unlock Audit Report, Self-Update Audit Report, Enrolled Users Report, and Un-Enrolled Users Report.
