ActiveRoles Server
Quests’s ActiveRoles Server is a full-featured user provisioning system. It includes both
windows client and web-based interfaces. The web interface allows customizing user provisioning templates, and self-service updates to delegate tasks that would otherwise have to be completed by IT. I was impressed with one feature in particular called “Managed Units”. Managed Units are virtual OUs that can be created within ActiveRoles Server to help manage AD without changing the structure of Active Directory. Another useful feature is temporal group management which automates adding and removing members of groups that need to be members only for a specified time period. This is a great product but at $25 per user in your Active Directory it is also one of the most expensive.
Price: $25 per user in your Active Directory.
